I’m currently working as a computer repair man in a Power company somewhere in Mantrade (near South Super High Way). Everyday I travel about 86 kilometers from Bulacan (North) to Mantrade (South). Traffic is usually heavy during rush hour so I have to be out of the house before 6am. From Monday to Friday I usually wake-up half-past four and in the evening I usually get home past 10pm.
In the office, my usual work is to tinker on working PCs until something gets wrong…then I get to fix it – that’s my work, I fixed PCs! I move a lot throughout the day so that they won’t notice that I have nothing to do. And when they do chance upon me staring blankly into the wall – that’s when I told them I was actually thinking; because it is difficult for me to do manual work and think at the same time. I’m providing support to a very large network – about 15 computers and 1 server. Fortunately, I am the head of the IT department (ad hoc) so I am the one who tells the IT staff what to do. By the way, I’m the only IT guy in the company, so I do every instruction I make. On the plus side, I only have one IT head so I only have myself to follow – that’ll make things less troublesome.
My life is not all work. In fact, I do a lot of physical activities to keep me in-shape. I play 2 hours rally badminton twice a week (Monday and Thursday). On Wednesdays, I’m on the gym packing-on muscles. During Saturdays and Sundays, I usually wake-up at 4am and do cycling and an hour of light jog inside the Meycauayan Commercial complex (about 1.6km open field). The rest of the day (weekends) I spend with my little angles.
Given my busy week schedule and my physical activities, I am able to maintain my lean, mean physique! I have never been in better shape than I am now! (I inserted a photo taken last summer outing to attest my claim).
Oh, by the way, I have no vice… I don’t even smoke!
